Volleyball Recap: Bluestem Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bluestem entered their tilt with Oswego on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bluestem got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 21-25, 25-22.

Bluestem's win bumped their record up to 20-16-1. As for Oswego, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-20.

Coincidentally, Bluestem and Oswego will both be playing Classical the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
