Treasure Coast and Martin County are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. Treasure Coast will be playing at home against Martin County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Treasure Coast's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Synergy Magnet K12 as Treasure Coast made off with a 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.
Mia La Terra made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Martin County got the win against Jensen Beach on Thursday by a conclusive 6-0.
The result came thanks to Brealyn White's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kalei Bertke, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Emerson Newberry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Martin County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. The win got Treasure Coast back to even at 6-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Treasure Coast has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Martin County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
