Soccer Game Preview: Haleyville vs. Brooks

Haleyville will venture away from home to take on Brooks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Haleyville turned things around against Wilson on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors.

Haleyville hit Wilson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brooklyn Mobley, Kenna Turner, and Neri Blanco.

Meanwhile, Brooks had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 1-0 shutout. That's two games straight that Brooks have won by just one goal.

Brooks' win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Haleyville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Haleyville beat Brooks by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Haleyville since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
