Softball Recap: Stratford Red Devils vs. Joel Barlow Falcons
Stratford barely beat Joel Barlow the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 14-5 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.
Morgan Letizia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Stratford let Carolyne Burlone and Shyan Rolle run wild.
