Football Game Preview: Dyett Eagles vs. Hyde Park Thunderbirds

The Dyett Eagles will face off against the Hyde Park Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Saturday, Dyett took a blow against Goode STEM Academy, falling 58-18.

Dyett's loss came about despite a quality game from Dareon Young, who threw for 158 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Hyde Park's offense. They were beaten by Corliss 36-0 on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Thunderbirds were not able to get on the board.

Dyett now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hyde Park, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
