Basketball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was the 85-67 winner over Hibbing when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Princeton Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 80-63 to the Hibbing Bluejackets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Princeton now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Hibbing, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Princeton and Hibbing could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Princeton (ranked 261st) will meet Monticello (ranked 80th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hibbing will take on Deer River at 7:15 p.m. on Friday down 95 places (144 vs. 49).
