Soccer Recap: Little River Academy Comes Up Short

Little River Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Gatesville Hornets, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in February.

Little River Academy's goal came courtesy of Cristeto Martel, which was the first he's scored this season.

Little River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Gatesville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4-2.

As of now, neither Little River Academy nor Gatesville have any future games scheduled.
