Soccer Game Preview: North Farmington vs. West Bloomfield

The North Farmington Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the West Bloomfield Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Farmington has three straight victories, West Bloomfield has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

North Farmington's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Avondale 8-0. Considering North Farmington have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for West Bloomfield's offense. They came up short against Avondale last Thursday, falling 5-0.

North Farmington's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Bloomfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

North Farmington took their victory against West Bloomfield in their previous matchup on April 8th by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
