Morse extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jhiovanni Lacosta. The Morse Tigers blew past the O'Farrell Charter Falcons 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Lacosta, who had three aces and two blocks. What's more, he racked up 28 assists, the most he's had over his last nine matches.

One reason for the win was Morse's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Morse's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Akhilles Bounleuang, who had seven kills and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyouni Yon-Naovarangsy, who had six blocks.

Morse was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive contests.

The victory got Morse back to even at 9-9. As for O'Farrell Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Morse will face off against Santana at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for O'Farrell Charter, they will take on Calexico at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
