Marshfield had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Quincy Presidents. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Marshfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-12.

Marshfield's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Quincy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will head out to square off against Hingham at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Quincy, they will take on Norwell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
