Soccer Recap: Socorro Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Socorro was not quite Bosque's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1. Socorro haven't had much luck with Bosque recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Socorro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bosque, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Socorro and Bosque will both be playing Santa Fe Prep the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will host the Blue Griffins at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on September 2.
