Volleyball Recap: St. James Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

St. James Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Bishop Miege Stags 3-0. The game marked the Thunder's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Abigail May went supernova, getting 18 digs and two aces. Those 18 digs gave her a new career-high. Ellie Nichols also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

St. James Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Bishop Miege, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

St. James Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hoover on the 13th. Hopefully Bishop Miege paid attention to the Thunder's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
