Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Roosevelt was riding high fresh off their 75-47 takedown of Harlem Village Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Roosevelt took a hard 64-49 fall against Luperon on Friday.

Roosevelt's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Luperon, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

When Roosevelt and Luperon next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Roosevelt will try to stop American Sign Language & English's five-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Luperon will challenge Climate Justice and their six-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on January 17th.
