Meanwhile, Space Coast played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by New Smyrna Beach 64-32. The loss continues a trend for the Vipers in their matchups with the Barracudas: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the defeat, Space Coast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Phillayjah Carroll posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Lashiya Walker, who earned nine points.

Space Coast's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pine Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
