Volleyball Recap: Camden Comes Up Short

If Camden was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lancaster on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the York Cougars on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-10.

Leah Hendrix paced Camden's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hendrix got some help from Ryan Neal and her 12 assists. Hendrix was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Camden now has a losing record of 8-9. As for York, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Camden will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dreher at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for York, they will challenge North Augusta at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
