Softball Recap: Chapin Huskies vs. Canutillo Eagles
Chapin blew Canutillo out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Canutillo got their revenge. The Huskies fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 14-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Huskies have suffered since March 7, 2024.
Alyssa Pena stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored a run while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Josy Jaime-Garcia, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
