Basketball Recap: Festus Takes a Loss

Festus lost against Jefferson back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Festus Tigers fell 55-45 to the Jefferson Blue Jays. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Festus' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Festus and Jefferson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Festus (ranked 219th) will meet DeSoto (ranked 474th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson will face off against Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 297 places (274 vs. 571).
