Morgan and Judge Memorial Catholic are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Trojans will welcome the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Judge Memorial Catholic will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Morgan extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Trojans blew past Ogden 10-2. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Luke Bauerle, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Camron Talbot, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Judge Memorial Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Millard with a sharp 11-1 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the game before.

Jeter Soto spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks. He has become a key player for Judge Memorial Catholic: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Austin Harlan was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Miles Augustine was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Everything went Morgan's way against Judge Memorial Catholic when the teams last played back in March, as Morgan made off with a 17-6 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
