Baseball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Covina Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Wilson's record is now 3-15. As for Covina, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12-1 record this season.

While Wilson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
