            Volleyball Recap: Union Colony Prep Timberwolves vs. Highland Huskies        
        
		
        
        
            Union Colony Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Highland Huskies, falling  3-0. If the Timberwolves were looking for revenge after losing  3-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10,  25-20.
Union Colony Prep's offense was headlined by  Nadene Chacon and  Madisyn Jacks, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from  Stefanie Gonzalez and her six assists. She was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
 Highland can attribute much of their success to  Luci Fuentes, who  had 14  assists and three  aces.
Union Colony Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Highland, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.
 Union Colony Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  defeat against Lyons on the 28th. As for Highland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Gilpin County on the 24th.
