Volleyball Recap: Addison's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Addison waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the West End Patriots by a score of 2-0.

While Addison won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12.

Ava Bartlett paced Addison's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bartlett got some help from Annabeth Powell and her 18 assists. Kabri Dyson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Addison's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for West End, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Addison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Arab on the 25th. As for West End, they will take on Brindlee Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
