Volleyball Game Preview: Brawley Wildcats vs. West Shores Wildcats

Brawley will head out on the road to face off against West Shores at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Brawley didn't have quite enough to beat Holtville and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Brawley actually scored more points across those five sets (101-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-20, 13-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Meanwhile, West Shores came up short against Holtville on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brawley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for West Shores, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Brawley took their victory against West Shores in their previous meeting last Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brawley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
