Soccer Game Preview: Rouse vs. Cedar Park

The Rouse Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rouse's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Hays by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Cedar Park's game on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Leander. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Lions are ranked 356th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Cedar Park's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Rouse, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-8.
