Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Gets the Win

Hillcrest's game back in December of 2024 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They secured a 45-41 W over the Newtown Pioneers.

Hillcrest has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Newtown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Hillcrest will take on Francis Lewis at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newtown, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 38-23 win against Cardozo on the 6th.
