Recap: Buckeye Valley Barons vs. Whitehall-Yearling Rams
The Buckeye Valley Barons''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took down Whitehall-Yearling 23-7. That's another feather in the cap for Buckeye Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Malakhi Ross, who rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.
Buckeye Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Whitehall-Yearling, St. Charles, and Bexley. As for Whitehall-Yearling, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
Buckeye Valley will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Tri-Valley is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. Whitehall-Yearling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
