Basketball Recap: Whitney Wildcats vs. Pioneer Titans

The Whitney Wildcats fell 60-53 to the Pioneer Titans on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 53-52.
Whitney has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitney will head out to take on Oxford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pioneer, they will venture away from home to face off against Artesia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Artesia will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Pioneer surely won't give up without a fight.
