Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes a Loss

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 58-50 to the Southeastern Mustangs. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Southeastern, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12.

Altamont will head out on the road to square off against Homewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeastern, it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Southeastern Mustangs face off against the Holly Pond Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Holly Pond will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Southeastern surely won't give up without a fight.
