The Pleasanton Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Somerset Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

After soaring to four goals the game before, Pleasanton were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. Their tough 5-1 defeat to Floresville might stick with them for a while. Pleasanton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Meanwhile, Somerset made easy work of Hondo last Friday and carried off a 5-1 victory. The win was just what Somerset needed coming off of a 5-2 defeat in their prior match.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Somerset, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1.

Pleasanton beat Somerset 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pleasanton since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
