Basketball Recap: Mount Abram Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lisbon last Friday, Mount Abram came back down to earth. The Mount Abram Roadrunners took a 35-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Roadrunners have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Mount Abram now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Madison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Abram will square off against Maranacook at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison, they will challenge Old Orchard Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
