Volleyball Recap: Morris Jeff Takes a Loss

Morris Jeff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cohen Green Hornets. The Pelicans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 21-25, 25-18, 25-12.

Morris Jeff's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cohen, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morris Jeff will welcome Eleanor McMain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cohen, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on New Orleans Charter Science & Math at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
