Softball Recap: Hudson's Bay Comes Up Short

Hudson's Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the R.A. Long Lumberjacks, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Wednesday.

Hudson's Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for R.A. Long, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-10-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hudson's Bay is set to take on their familiar foe Columbia River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, R.A. Long will face off against rival Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
