Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's tough 56-35 loss to Dieterich might stick with them for a while. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City has not had much luck with Dieterich recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
AJ Radloff and Kaidyn Calame certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Radloff scored 11 points along with nine rebounds, while Calame scored eight points along with three steals. Those nine rebounds set a new season-high mark for Radloff.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-4. As for Dieterich, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Cumberland at 7:45 p.m. on December 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Cumberland is ranked 512th, while Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City is ranked 489th). Dieterich will be home for the holidays to greet St. Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Anthony is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
