Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Tigers vs. Menlo School Knights
Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Menlo School Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 10th.
Notre Dame started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-23.
Gia Rivera paced Notre Dame's offense, picking up 23 kills. Rivera got some help from
Arianna Juarez and her 28 assists. Finally, Rivera was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Menlo School, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.
