Basketball Recap: Agua Fria Takes a Loss

Agua Fria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 96-74 to the Peoria Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-64 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Agua Fria saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elijah May made all 6 shots he took to post 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was David Tejada, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Agua Fria's loss dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Peoria, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

As of now, neither Agua Fria nor Peoria have any future games scheduled.
