The Leander Lions will square off against the Glenn Grizzlies at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Leander is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Leander is coming into the contest fresh off a high-scoring shootout with Lockhart that saw the pair combine for 27 shots on goal. Leander blew past Lockhart 5-1 on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Leander pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Lockhart with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marley Ortez (2), Morgan Thomas, Mila Borel, and Emily Sandoval.

Meanwhile, Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Cedar Park. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Glenn couldn't quite close it out.

Leander's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Leander skirted past Glenn 3-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
