Softball Recap: Summit SkyHawks vs. Colton Yellowjackets
Summit fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Colton on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 4-3. The SkyHawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Ciarah De Angelis spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on 19 hits.
