Softball Recap: Burns Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Burns was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 8-2 to the R-S Central Hilltoppers. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Burns' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for R-S Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Burns and R-S Central will both be playing Chase the next time they take the field. R-S Central will host Chase at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Burns will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
