It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Bonaventure had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They snuck past the Villa Park Spartans with a 71-65 victory. The Seraphs are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

St. Bonaventure's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mathew Wilson, who went 7-for-11 en route to 21 points and six rebounds. What's more, Wilson also posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Charlie Adams was another key player, putting up 19 points and four steals.

St. Bonaventure's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points over those games. As for Villa Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.

Coming up, St. Bonaventure will host Irvine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Irvine will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something St. Bonaventure surely won't give up without a fight. Villa Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
