Soccer Game Preview: Leilehua vs. Mililani

Leilehua is 0-9 against Mililani since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Leilehua Mighty Mules will take on the Mililani Trojans in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Leilehua turned things around against Wai'anae on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Mighty Mules' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Mililani had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Marauders as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Fans of the Trojans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Mililani's win bumped their record up to 3-0. Leilehua's draw gives them a new season record of 0-3-1.

Leilehua suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Mililani in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Leilehua avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
