Izzy Weimer Game Report: vs Middletown South

Matawan Regional found a leader in Izzy Weimer as the squad took down Middletown South on Tuesday. Weimer produced her best game of the campaign: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.

Coming up, Weimer and Matawan Regional will challenge Holmdel at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are a perfect 4-0 against the Hornets going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
