There's no place like home for Blackfoot, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Shelley Russets on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Jake Vance was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Weston Layton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Blackfoot is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Shelley, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Blackfoot will challenge Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. Shelley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
