Softball Recap: Trinity Shamrocks vs. Camp Hill Lions
Trinity won against East Pennsboro last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Trinity blew past the Camp Hill Lions 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Aubrie Holtzapple made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Trinity got a massive performance out of Anna Sheaffer, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three hits gave Sheaffer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zea Sullivan, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.
The victory made it two in a row for Trinity and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Camp Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Looking ahead, Trinity will be playing at home against West Perry at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Camp Hill, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Camp Hill Lions take on Harrisburg Cougars at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
