Uxbridge put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Auburn Rockets. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Auburn's batters probably weren't too happy with Erin O'Day, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 17 Ks (she gave up zero walks). O'Day has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Uxbridge got a massive performance out of Gabriela Belanger, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that Belanger has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Dzivasen, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Uxbridge's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Auburn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uxbridge will host Quaboag Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Auburn, they will face off against Bartlett at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.75 runs per game on average), something the Rockets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
