After a string of 38 wins dating back to last season, Upton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 59-47 to the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers. The loss put an end to the Bobcats' undefeated start to the season.

Leading Lingle-Fort Laramie to victory were Ned Nelson and Brady Cook. Nelson went 10-for-12 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds, while Cook shot 80% from the field en route to 20 points and five boards. Cook is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last 49 games he's played dating back to last season. Brody Roberts was another key player, putting up eight points and five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Upton fell to 22-1. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, the win keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.

Upton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, they will face off against Encampment at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lingle-Fort Laramie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
