Basketball Recap: Salina Comes Up Short

Salina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Adair Warriors 74-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-27 back in December of 2024.

Salina's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Adair, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salina will venture away from home to take on Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Salina is facing Locust Grove at the right time seeing as Locust Grove is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Adair, they will challenge Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sequoyah will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Adair surely won't give up without a fight.
