If Taylor was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Finneytown on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Bishop Fenwick Falcons on Monday, falling 3-0. The Yellowjackets' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-16.

Taylor's offense was headlined by Sam Henline and Jaxson Snell, who picked up five kills apiece. Snell really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with nine. Henline was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Bishop Fenwick, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Taylor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Wyoming on the 1st. As for Bishop Fenwick, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Chaminade Julienne Catholic on the 29th.
