Volleyball Game Preview: Jennings County Panthers vs. Southwestern Rebels

After both having extra time off, the Jennings County Panthers and the Southwestern Rebels will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Jennings County lost 3-0 to Scottsburg last Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Southwestern unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Jeffersonville two weeks ago, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-6.

Jennings County will need to focus on slowing down Julio Moreno, one of several Southwestern players who made an impact when they last played. He had five digs and two aces.
