Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Trinity Christian Academy

Trinity Christian Academy had won seven straight games and Luke Nutt did his part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Trinity Christian Academy Warriors blew past the Harvest Christian Academy Saints 87-45 thanks in part to Nutt, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. His evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Rayder Waldroup, who posted eight points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.4 points per game. As for Harvest Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will square off against Grayson Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Grayson Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
