Basketball Recap: Parma Comes Up Short

Parma suffered their closest defeat since January 30th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Soda Springs Cardinals by a score of 71-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Parma still got an impressive performance from Nathan Compas, who posted 28 points. Those 28 points gave Compas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trevor Mann, who earned ten points.

Parma's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Soda Springs, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Parma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-41 win against New Plymouth on the 17th. As for Soda Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-50 defeat against South Fremont on the 12th.
