Franklin won the last time they faced McDaniel and Cooper Haug did his part to make sure it happened again. The Quakers walked away with a 28-21 win over the Mountain Lions on Thursday thanks in part to Haug, who rushed for 165 yards and two scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Franklin's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 0-6 when he doesn't).

Franklin's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for McDaniel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
